Sean Robert Easlick passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 43, at his home in Valley Park, Mo.
Sean was born in St. Louis, Mo., on March 17, 1983, to parents Lynn F. Liefer and David M. Easlick. He graduated from Freeburg Community High School, Ill., in 2001, where he built lifelong friendships and developed a love for sports and music, especially Jazz. After graduation he attended Southern Illinois University, where he studied music.
Sean proudly served in the 126th Security Forces Squadron of the Air National Guard and was deployed to Diego Garcia. He was awarded an honorable discharge on October 31, 2007, with the rank of Senior Airman.
Sean traveled extensively in the United States, as he built a successful career in the food and hospitality industry, in both the public and private sectors. Through his kindness, integrity, and friendship, Sean made a lasting difference in the lives of those who knew him.
Sean enjoyed playing golf with his father and grandfather, pickleball with family and friends, and going for outdoor runs. He adored his two dogs Schmidt and Sammy. Gifted with a love for music, he was a talented saxophone and piano player. He cherished the time he spent visiting his sister Andrea in California and his sister Kathleen in Portugal, creating many treasured memories with them over the years. Sean enjoyed time spent with his stepsiblings Matthew, Tiffany, and Justin. And he was a wonderful mentor and advisor to his sister Kayla. He was a loving Uncle to her son Leonardo - always gentle, kind, and fun. His warmth, laughter, and presence at family events made every occasion special.
