Obituary
Shirley I. Reid, nee Eberhardt, age 78, of Shiloh, born January 10, 1936 in Shiloh, Illinois, passed away July 19, 2014 at Memorial Care Center in Belleville.
She grew up in Shiloh and graduated from O'Fallon Twp. High School, class of 1954. Shirley worked for many years in the banking industry. She was a member of Senior Citizens Clubs of both Shiloh and O'Fallon.
She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Ella, nee Cebulske, Eberhardt; and her son Edward C. Reid, Jr. and her brother-in-law Oscar Brandmeyer.
Surviving are her daughters Sheila (Richard) Orf, of O'Fallon, Ill., and Sandra (Paul) Shipley of Belle Fourche, S.D..; her much-loved grandchildren Andrew and Mary Orf, and Eric Atteberry; sister Elsie Brandmeyer and brother Roger Eberhardt, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home. The Senior Citizens Club of O'Fallon will conduct a walk-through at 6:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Funeral: 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon. Private burial at Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
