On Monday, January 4, 2021, Stanley William Kombrink, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 74 with his family by his side. To his friends and those who loved him, he was "Stan the Man."

Stanley was born August 1, 1946 in Belleville, Ill., and was raised on his family farm in O'Fallon.  From a young age, Stanley was a devoted farmer and began his lifelong career. He was a respected farmer and owner of Kombrink Farm, Inc. Throughout his farming years, he owned Stan Kombrink Grain and had a passion for the markets. In addition, he was a member of the St. Clair County Farm Bureau, the National Corn Growers Association, American Soybean Association, Shiloh Eagles 545, and served in the Air Force Reserves. Apart from farming, his pride and joy was his family, especially his seven grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Frieda, nee Ahring, Kombrink, sister, Carol Dressel; brother, Vernon Kombrink; niece, Connie Barnes and sister-in-law, Janet Friederich.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Stephanie, nee Jarvis, Kombrink, whom he married on July 20, 1984; three children, Craig (Emily) Kombrink of O'Fallon, Ill., Katelyn (Corey) Hagarty of O'Fallon, Ill., and Courtney (Dave) Ruckman of O'Fallon, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Parker Hagarty, Easton Hagarty, Kendall Kombrink, Karter Ruckman, Hudson Hagarty, Colby Kombrink and Kallie Ruckman; and extended family.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or donor's choice.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021 Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St. O'Fallon, IL 62269. ( Capacity 10 people; please do not linger so that others have the opportunity to pay their respects )

The family will hold a private service, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, with burial at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
