Suzanne Schad, age 51, lifelong resident of rural Belleville, born April 11, 1960, passed away Friday evening, April 22, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, surrounded by her family and close friends.
Suzanne was a 1978 graduate of Belleville East High School. She worked at Target Stores in Fairview Heights and Shiloh for 25 years and was most recently employed as a sales clerk at Archiver's Scrapbooking Store in Fairview Heights. She had a creative spirit, enjoyed hiking, baking cookies and cupcakes, and vacationing with her family -- especially her niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Mary, nee Arnold, Schad.
Surviving are her brother Donald (Sherrie) Schad, Jr.; her sister Bonnie Schad; her nephews Danny Kombrink and Jonathon Schad; and niece Katie Schad, all of Belleville; her boyfriend Steve Michel of Fairview Heights; her aunt Eleanor Jung of Belleville; dear friends Connie and Carey Meek, and Lynn Kniker, many loving cousins, and faithful dogs Buddy and Jake.
Memorials are requested to Belleville Humane Society or Siteman Cancer Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Service: 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the funeral home, with Rev. James Deiters officiating.
