Sydney Ashton Marrs, age 3, beloved daughter of Christopher and Lori; and little sister of Elizabeth, born September 10, 2008 in Belleville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday morning, September 27, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.
Sydney enjoyed dancing, swimming, swinging, arts & crafts-especially the glue, playing outside, driving her Mustang with no hands, and riding her tricycle. Sydney was known to be extremely busy, "busy hands and busy feet." She always loved to give big hugs, had a great belly laugh, and was a very joyful and happy kid. Sponge Bob Square pants, Wiggles, and Dora were some of her favorite entertainers. Bugging her older sister always made her laugh the loudest. Riding the BIG tractor in the country with Grandpa Don was always very special to her.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving parents, Chris and Lori, nee Britton, Marrs, and big sister Elizabeth Marrs; of O'Fallon, Ill.; treasured grandparents, Don and Madeline Britton of Cuba, Mo; Dale and JoAnn Marrs of Venice, Fla; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Angie Britton of Cuba, Mo.; Ken Beckett of Troy, Mo.; Sue and Kirk Waller of Bedford, Tex.; Dave and Doris Marrs of Keller, Tex.; cousins and playmates, Allie and Erin Britton, Matthew and Madeline Beckett, Elizabeth Poeppel, Josh Waller, Chris and Cody Thomas, Scott and Brad Marrs, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and playmates.
