Terri Lynn Long, nee Cochran, age 65, of Carlyle, Ill., born June 27, 1957, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 28, 2023 at Carlyle Healthcare & Senior Living Center.

Terri spent her younger years in Texas, and had many fond memories of times spent in Port Isabel, Texas She moved to the metro-east and lived in Granite City for many years, and was employed as a nurse at Eden Village Retirement Center in Glen Carbon. Terri was a loving and giving person and was "beyond crazy" about her grandkids, Aidan and Zoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Cochran and Ellen, nee Burnert, Cochran; her husband Bill Long in 2008; her son Shaun Alan Cook in 2006; and her sister Debbie Cooper.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law Jayma Cook; her grandchildren Aidan Cook and Zoe Cook; her sister Traci Mathis; brothers Jeff Cochran and David Cochran; many nieces & nephews, including a special nephew Garrit McDaniel.
