Timothy Jay Lamberson, age 56, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born March 6, 1964 in Amarillo, Texas, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, after a brief illness.

Timmy grew up and spent most of his life in Amarillo, Texas. He moved to Mount Vernon, Illinois two years ago to work with his brother-in-law and family at Route 37 Performance, where he specialized in classic car restoration and auto paint, body, and repair work. Timmy was a jack-of-all-trades; he was a good friend and dedicated father who shared his wisdom and taught many lessons. His laid-back personality helped him to enjoy fishing and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents J.L. Lamberson and Sharon Stinson; his brother Tommy Lamberson, and  two grandchildren.

Surviving are his children Timothy J. "T.J." (Nathalie Ortiz) Lamberson, II, of Mt. Vernon, Ill.,

Krystle Erwin, Robert Lamberson, and A.J. Kemps; 15 grandchildren; his brothers Mark Lamberson and Scotty Stinson, and sister Debra Lamberson, his brother-in-law Richard (Kristina) Elgin of O'Fallon, Ill., and his ex-wife Debra Kay Lamberson.

We are saddened by our loss, and Timmy's life is to be celebrated. Sadly, all services must be delayed and will be announced when scheduled.
