Thomas B. Bergfeld, age 52, of Shiloh, Ill., born July 1, 1970 in Effingham, Ill., to Bernard and Deloris, nee Haarman, Bergfeld, died November 12, 2022 at his home.

Tom was a salesman in the structural hardware industry and was employed by Elite Components for many years. He grew up on a dairy farm near Teutopolis and graduated in 1988 from Teutopolis High School. He attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, studying business and marketing. He loved to fish. Tom's kids, Lauren and Jake, were everything to him, and he loved them dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father Bernard on January 31, 2022.

Surviving are his children Lauren and Jake of O'Fallon, Ill.; his mother Deloris Bergfeld, his siblings Carla (Lyle) Nosbisch, Gary (Elaine) Bergfeld, Amy (Brad) Meinhart, and Kathleen Miller, and his former wife Jackie Gordon, and many nieces and nephews.
