Tracy Martin Wilson, age 78, of Kimberling City, Missouri, formerly of O'Fallon, IL, departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2006 at his home in Kimberling City, MO.
Tracy was born November 27, 1927 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Tracy Day and Dollie (nee Martin) Wilson. He married Helen Miller on May 27, 1950. Mr. Wilson retired from the Alton and Southern Railroad where he was a switchboard operator. Tracy was an Air Force Veteran, serving during World War II. Tracy and Helen raised three daughters together in O'Fallon, Illinois. Upon his retirement in 1989, they moved to Kimberling City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cathy Blankenship, sister Martha Rachel, and brother Cameron Wilson.
Tracy is survived by his wife, Helen Wilson, of Kimberling City, MO, formerly of O'Fallon; two daughters Deborah & husband Larry Rundell, Tammy and husband, Charles Lane, all of Kimberling City, MO, sister Delores Wilson, and six grandchildren, Chad Conner, Brian Conner, Ryan Blankenship, Aaron Blankenship, Dustin Burgert and Crystal and her husband, Scott Konrad.
The family of Mr. Wilson requests in lieu of flowers that Memorial Donations be made to American Cancer Society, 5 Schiber Ct., Maryville, IL 62062 or Regional Care Hospice, 1328 E. Evergreen, Springfield, MO 65803.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W Washington St., O'Fallon.
Interment of Cremated Remains will take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
