Obituary

Vincent Michael Andrasko, age 74, of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at his home. Vincent was born to Michael V. and Mary (nee Chovanec) Andrasko on January 14, 1933 in Litchfield, Ill.

He attended St. Louis University, graduating in 1959. There, he met Margaret M. Rogers and they married December 26, 1959. Mr. Andrasko was a comptroller for the Dept. of Defense, retiring in 1998. He was an active and generous participant in Just Faith Ministries and was a loyal member of St. Clare Catholic Church, O'Fallon.


A proud father and loving husband, he is survived by his wife, Margaret, their daughters, Stephanie Harvey and her husband Derek, of O'Fallon; Carolyn Andrasko and her husband Robert Haas of Bedford, N.H.; and Elizabeth Bude and her husband Michael of St. Louis, Mo. Also surviving are his grandchildren Sarah, Madeleine, Benjamin, Anneliese, and Sophia; and his mother-in-law Mrs. Vernell Rogers of O'Fallon, formerly of St. Louis, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, the Andrasko family would much prefer Memorial Donations to support the following organizations: Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School, 8213 Church Lane, East St. Louis, IL 62203, or St. Vincent de Paul Cosgrove's Kitchen, 771 Vogel Pl, East St. Louis, IL 62205, or to St. Clare Catholic Church.

Services: Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2007 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, Ill.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Deiters presiding.

Interment: Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
