Virginia Rose Leninsky, age 76, of O'Fallon, born August 13, 1939 in Alton, Mo, passed away Wednesday morning, June 22, 2016 at her home, in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Virginia attended St. Clare Catholic Church, where she participated with the St. Clare Seniors. She had worked as a sales associate at various locations, primarily Famous-Barr and Scott AFB commissary. She was a former bowler at Scott AFB bowling league.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vivian Henry "V.H." Sisco and Helen Aleta, nee Holmes, Sisco; her son Calvin Thurman Waits, grandson Christopher Waits, and brothers V.J. Sisco and Kenneth Olan Sisco.

Surviving are her husband Walter Leninsky, (CMSgt, USAF, retired), whom she married August 21, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas; children Shannon Marie Waits of O'Fallon, Ill., Royce Gene Waits of Coldwater, Miss., Michael Shawn Leninsky of Fulton, Mo., and Walter Leninsky, III, of Belleville, Ill., and granddaughter Caitlin Waits.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Clare Catholic Church Building Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, and one hour prior to Mass on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the church.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, with Rev. James Deiters presiding, immediately followed by a luncheon. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
