Walter Lee Davis, III, age 56, of St. Louis, Mo., born January 22, 1965, passed away at his home on September 23, 2021.

Walter grew up in Madison, Illinois, where he attended Bethel A.M.E. Church, and graduated from Madison High School. He attended and played football at the University of Illinois as a walk-on offensive lineman, until an injury cut his playing career short. He also attended Harris-Stowe State University, where he continued his career for 7 years in the Computer Lab. He became a member of Alpha Phi Psi Fraternity Incorporated on April 16, 1991. For the past 25+ years, Walter was employed with the City of St. Louis as an IT Specialist.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Lee Davis, Sr., and Curlee Davis.

Surviving are his son Alexander Davis; the mother of his son and parenting partner Alice Davis-Wiley; his dear aunt Marie Moore; sister Carolin Mostafa; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 1035 Market St., Madison, Illinois.
