Wayne Scott Maxwell, age 57, of O'Fallon, Ill., born November 21, 1959 in St. Louis, Mo., died October 10, 2017 as a result of an auto accident near Marion, Ill.

Scott was raised in St. Louis and lived in Highland, Ill. for 20 years, moving to O'Fallon in 2010. He was the owner-operator of MR SITCO, a software installation company. He also worked part-time as a cross-country courier. He was an excellent bowler and bowling instructor. He loved the Christmas holiday season and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Asa Wayne Maxwell and Shirley, nee Robinson, Maxwell; and an infant sister.

He is survived by his children Joshua (Lauren) Maxwell of Highland, Ill., Manuel (Clarissa Harris) Maxwell of Fountain, Fla., Nicole Maxwell of Belleville, Scott Maxwell of O'Fallon, and Maggie Maxwell of Steeleville, Ill., his grandchildren Eli Wayne, Lainey, Marcella, Gabriella, and Abigail; and his fiancée Carolyn Gibson White of O'Fallon.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family for a charity yet to be determined.

Visitation: Friends may call 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2017 at the funeral home, with Rev. Christy Eckert, officiating. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, St Louis, Mo.
