Yvonne Dorthy French, nee Rogers, age 74, of Stewardson, Ill., formerly of O'Fallon, born January 21, 1941 in Belleville, Ill., died Monday evening, August 3, 2015, at Effingham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Effingham, Ill., following a brief illness.

Yvonne grew up in O'Fallon and lived here until moving to Stewardson, Ill. recently to be near her daughter. She had worked in O'Fallon providing in-home health care.

She was preceded in death by her parents Melvern and Jacqueline, nee Jung, Rogers; and her infant daughter Debrey Sue French.

Surviving are her children Sandra Severs of Stewardson, Ill., and Edward R. (Sherry) French of Kell., Ill., her five grandchildren Angela French, Robert (Lindsay) French, Ben (Jennifer) Severs, Kelly (Bill) Paskavich and Sheila (Leo) Sanchez, nine great-grandchildren; and her brother Joe (Susan) Rogers of O'Fallon.

Memorial donations are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children.

Funeral: Graveside Service will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Ill., with Rev. Dr. Martha Thierheimer officiating.
