Zoe Zelda Rogers Passed on September 10, 2007, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Illinois, surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of Larry for 24 years, daughter of Dale Carpenter and the late Sally Carpenter, sister of Vickie Ingle, Leif Carpenter and Russell McMahon.

She will live forever in the hearts of those she has touched, especially her children Margaux and Darren.

Zoe graduated from Big Rapids High in 1982. She was active in the High School Theatre, Art, and Glee Club. She met her husband, Larry, during the high school production of "Guys & Dolls" in 1979 and her life was changed forever. When Larry started his military career in 1984 the family left Big Rapids traveling to Okinawa, California, New Jersey, and seven years in Kaiserslautern Germany; Zoe loved the Old World atmosphere of Germany, its people, and enchanting culture.
She enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family.
She will be remembered for her quick-wit, smile, and her free loving spirit. Her independence infected those around her with the knowledge, "All opportunities are endless and anything is possible."

Zoe was a loving, good-hearted, giving individual with a great personality, and sense of humor. We all wish her a safe journey as she careens placidly through the wondrous expanse of the infinite Cosmos.
